"Wait, it's not painful!"
Declan noticed the situation was not as bad as he expected. He rubbed his skin, and a layer of burnt skin was peeled off without him feeling the pain. Also, he could feel his skin was much smoother right then, as if he had applied a layer of oil on his arm.
Declan could not hold back his curiosity and opened his eyes to look at his arm. He widened his eyes in shock and gaped.
