Susan then said to Declan, "Dr. Lin, I hope you can work hard and lead the Emergency Department to become the most excellent department in our hospital. You can definitely take up the position of a director with your medical skills, but you are too young and you've just arrived at our hospital. We would need to take some time to observe you."
Declan understood. He had only been in the hospital for a few days, yet he became an acting head of the department. He was practically soaring like an eagle.
"Thank you for your trust, Director Chiao. I will work hard and do my best. The achievement of the emergency department is the result of the joint effort of all the medical staff in the department," Declan said with a modest smile.
All of a sudden, everyone applauded again.
