Sierra’s POV
I turned to Ryan, and then the others, as we heard the scream, wondering how to proceed. Maybe we should try to be discreet and watch what is going on before making a move?
But the next moment, more screams filled the air, and the decision was taken out of my hands. There was no point in being discreet anymore.
I turned and ran towards the place and felt everyone follow me. As we reached the clearing from where the screams were coming, I halted and stared in horror at the sight in front of me.
Four wolves, two in wolf form and two in human form, were fighting nine mages who were throwing spells at them. I stood in confusion as I watched the fight. What was happening here? Why were they fighting? And most importantly, who were we supposed to help?
