I woke up feeling slightly weak. My body was aching slightly, and I groaned as I moved to turn my body to my left. I felt a heavy weight on my torso. I turned to find a large muscular hand wrapped around me possessively. I saw Hunter leaning against the headboard sleeping in a sitting position with a frown on his handsome face. How could he sleep in that uncomfortable position for the whole night?
My heart flooded with so many emotions seeing him like this. Though I had felt a connection in the past and loved him, my feelings were stronger today, and I could feel the connection between us becoming more powerful.
