Roseline's POV.
We reached the venue. The venue was decorated with colorful lights. Flowers were arranged beautifully everywhere on the golden gate, and a red silk carpet was lying on the floor till the end of the hall. Everything had a golden theme. Guests started coming for the engagement. The serving staff was dressed according to the theme. They were dressed in a golden coloured uniform. All seemed so nice and faultless. Hunter made sure that everything would be perfect on his sister's engagement. We walked inside, and Victor was standing near the stage with his father, Damien. He was dressed in a black suit and looked very nice. I nudged my elbow on Evelyn's arm and motioned my head towards Victor. She looked at him but seemed to be lost a little bit. I asked her, "Are you okay?"
