Hunter's POV.
I couldn't let her go alone. I didn't know why, but my wolf was restless as if something terrible was going to happen. After two attacks on Roseline, I was sure enough that someone wanted to harm her. However, I couldn't disclose this to everyone without any proof; more importantly, it would cause panic in my family.
I knew that she would be safe with her family in her pack. But still, my wolf instinct didn't allow me to let her go alone. I couldn't trust anyone when it came to Roseline's safety. So I had to be with her twenty for seven to protect her and to assure myself that she was safe.
I would protect her with my life. I didn't know why, but I was desperate to do anything for her.
