"What are you doing, Hunter ?" My mother came forward and, holding Roseline's shoulder, helped her to stand up. Then, my mother circled her arm around Roseline and said," You can't treat her like that. We know that you are hurt. But that's not her fault."
"Mother, she killed Clara and my unborn child." I said, turning to face my mother.
"What? No. That's not possible. This must have been a misunderstanding." She said in disbelief.
"No, mother. There is no misunderstanding. I have proof and witnesses against Roseline." I told my mother, and her eyes widened.
Mother looked at Roseline's tear-covered innocent face and then looked at me as if she couldn't believe what she was listening to.
