Layce Point of View.
Arriving back in my room, Leo laid out all my clothes on my bed. There wasn't much to lay out but the sentiment is sweet. Nico studies the clothes, settling on a pair of thin, almost see-through, tight leggings, and a t-shirt. He hands the clothes to me, and I put them on. My jewelry box sits on the top of the dresser.
Toni looks over the clothes and asks Leo, "Where is the rest of it?"
With a little sadness in his voice, Leo says, "That was everything."
I open the small blue jewelry box, inside is a tiny heart pendant made of solid gold on a thin gold chain. I rub my finger across the heart before closing the box.
