Layce's Point of View
Leo softly directs me out of the warehouse, his hand resting on my back. My emotions are wild right now. I want to see my brothers, make sure they are okay, make sure they understand what is happening. I am worried, anxious, afraid. Yet a small part of me is excited that I get to go with Leo and his brothers. There is something about the three of them that keeps me calm.
I open the door to the Cadillac. Nico is sitting in the driver's seat. He gives me the kindest smile, soft, with a sense of sincerity. Leo sits in the passenger seat. I sit next to Toni in the back seat of the car. Toni leans in to me and says "once we get you settled at our house we will arrange for you to see your brothers."
