"It seems your enemies keep increasing by the day," Sebastian noted. "You must really love Marcus, to be able to go through with this."
I scoffed, "Love? I guess the meaning of the word has changed then. Anyway, I called today because I wanted to confirm if you'll be there. Now that I have, I will send the invite to you before the week runs out.
Just so I don't get killed on my engagement day, can I count on you to watch my back?"
