Once I was alone, I went after Jake and found him in his study.
"Why are you always rude to Paris when you know she has feelings for you?" I asked. "You are making her sad, Jake, and I don't like it."
He got up and massaged his temples, "Disney, worry about getting a suitor at your party since it is important to you."
"This is more important," I told him.
He sighed, "I understand what is going on, Disney. I can clearly see that Bliss has feelings for Paris and I don't want to get in the way.
We lost our parents and a lot of family during the crash but I still have you and I'm grateful for that. However, Bliss lost not just his parents but his brother and sister.
We are the closest family he has and I want him to be happy."
