"No, I don't love Bill anymore," I replied to Jake. "I went to save him because Shaw is my enemy and I felt he only went after Bill to get to me."
I wasn't sure about my feelings for Bill. After meeting Marcus and Sebastian, I knew something had changed within me. I hadn't had time to clean up my feelings but at that moment, the answer I gave Jake was for the best.
I hoped Bill who was listening to our conversation would take the hint and keep away from me and I also hoped my brother would not be too upset.
