Hearing Bill call out my name, I turned and stared at him briefly before looking away.
I didn't know why but I suddenly began to feel uncomfortable and could not stay there anymore.
"I want to use the restroom," I whispered to my brother. "If my attention is needed at any time, please fill in for me."
I walked out of the auction room and headed for the restroom, ignoring all the shocked stares I was getting.
Inside the restroom, I stared at my reflection in the mirror and smiled, "Disney Johnson, you no longer need to hide your face. Go back there and show everyone that you are a big girl."
The words had just left my mouth when the door was pushed open and I heard it being locked. I turned and saw Bill, standing and leaning against the door as he said, "We need to talk."
