4Before she entered Clark’s Pub, she looked at the text from Celeste. In the sea of it said “Trust In Love.” Samantha ran her fingers over the words. It was like a good luck charm. Celeste was right. Samantha could do this. She had to. She got out of her rental car and looked around. It was a dark part of town. She’d expected a more upscale place. She walked into the bar. It was dark. That was her first impression. There was a strong smell of beer and stale sweat. She wrinkled her nose. This was not a nice place. But it was quiet and the dim light kept Samantha from noticing the probable filth that coated everything. Samantha had been in these places before.
