A sweet taste suddenly filled the excited buds on my tongue, and it felt like an explosion went through my mouth as every cell fought to get a taste. But the more I took it in, I started feeling pain.
I was burning.
A darkness fell unto me and something within me started fighting it. It was almost like I was an observer of what was happening in my body. I could feel the pain. I could also feel the heat rising within me, gradually pushing away the pain the sweet liquid had caused.
I felt the energy ball move through me, cleanse me of the pain the burning sensation had left within me.
