Asher|| I woke up feeling groggy and weak, my head pounding as if I had been hit by a boulder. My thoughts were muddled, and for a moment, I couldn't remember where I was. Blinking rapidly, I tried to clear the fog from my mind. Why did I feel like this? I sat up slowly, the room spinning around me. As I swung my legs over the side of the bed, I noticed three maids standing by, waiting nervously. “What’s going on?” I asked, my voice rough and barely recognizable.
