Phoenix|| The quicksand was swallowing me whole, and panic gripped my heart. I struggled to stay calm as the wet, grainy mass pulled me deeper with each passing second. I had never felt so helpless. "Marius, help!" I shouted, trying to keep my voice steady despite the fear that threatened to choke me. Marius immediately grabbed a long stick and extended it toward me. "Grab hold of this, Phoenix!
