Asher had to be the worst brother in the history of siblings. He saw the signs I was sending to him, but he purposefully refused to do as I was asking. He chose his way and left me with no choice but to drastically change the narrative.
I could see the shift in Axel’s eyes as he stared back and forth between us, and I couldn’t even blame him. We have spent our entire life searching for the cure to our curse and Asher claiming to have found it must have woken the rarest forms of emotions within him.
