She took a stool where she had last time, and Kirk told her more about his project while they waited for the others to arrive. Kyle was late, and rolled in at the last minute. Pascal and Gavin were filled in, Kirk told them she hadn’t felt well and left early, and they both hugged her, greeting her as if they were old friends. She really liked the guys, and she knew she’d have stayed the whole weekend if it wasn’t for those who gatecrashed.
