They wanted to journey as much as they could before nightfall. Lara had a good night vision, but Rizontie was getting tired. It never had to leave the palace walls. So the long journey was beginning to take a toll on the ice dragon. To reduce her burden, Scarlett had shifted on to Lara. But it wasn't working much well. Rizontie was fast and fierce, but then it was as inexperienced and new as Scarlett.
"Rizontie needs to rest!" Scarlett screamed loud enough for both Logan and Laurent to hear her.
"We can't take an overgrown dragon to a city or kingdom without prior information. They might think we are attacking them." Laurent replied in an equally high pitch.
