Hello dear reader!

Thank-you for reading my book. I do hope you enjoyed reading about Chase and Alejandra as much as I enjoyed writing about them. I chose to set the story in an imaginary town called Bisby by the Sea, because it’s exactly the sort of place I would like to live one day.

I loved writing my previous book set in Bisby (Jake and the Nefarious Glub) so much, that it got me thinking about all the other strange and wonderful people that live there and what their stories might be. Even before I had finished writing Jake, I already had a list of new ideas. I knew that I wanted to tell more stories about the unusual goings on in Bisby by the Sea, and Chase’s story was one of the first ideas that came to me.

JakeIt was only after writing this story, that I realised that I might just have created a link between my two series, the “Bisby” books and the “Gideon Rayne” books… what do you think?
