6 - Cover it Up

2500 Words
Still wearing the little black dress that I wore for dinner, I just retouched my make-up into something darker. Something more suitable for a night out. I grinned at my reflection after I got contented with what I'd done. I feel giddy with excitement. It's been a while since I last went out to a party. Uhm, no. It's only been a week since my Dad grounded me, but it feels like forever already. I miss my friends. The booming music, the booze... Ah, the life... I grabbed my phone and checked my brother's location. I was able to get it from Dad's office when we came home early and both of my parents disappeared into their bedroom. "There you are..." I whispered to myself when I found out that he is in one of the most high-end clubs in New York. "Just wait for me," I smirked before tucking my phone back into my bag. I hung it on my shoulders and took a last glance at my reflection. I winked at myself and then headed to the door. I carefully took a peek to make sure that no one was outside. I tiptoed out of my bedroom with my pair of heels in my hands. It's already ten in the evening and my parents are surely still in their room, doing God knows what. They won't even notice that I've gone missing unless the guards alert them. I made sure that even the house helpers wouldn't see me when I ran to the garage. We are now living in my grandparents' house. They told us my Mom loved it, so we have lived here since we moved back to New York. But I had already let go of my unicorn-themed bedroom ever since my grandparents passed away. I had it renovated into a more sophisticated interior because it was kinda hard to stay in it when it always reminded me of them. My grandparents loved me so much, especially Granny. And I loved them too, as well as this house, if only it wasn't too far from the Upper East Side. I was always adamant about getting my place but my parents just wouldn't let me. Dmitri even has his unit but he still goes home from time to time. But I couldn't take it out on him because he bought that penthouse unit with his own money. He'd been working for our company since I can remember. But my parents didn't force him to. He was the one who wanted to do it. He started from the bottom even if we own it. I don't understand why he would want to do that, but that's him. And this is me. We are opposites, but our parents still love us equally. Well, I'm not so sure about that, but that's what I think. Dad is even more lenient towards me, despite my childish behavior... I headed to the garage as quietly as I could. There are guards roving around our property but it would be easy to drive away once I get a key. My heart was pounding after I got the key fob for my black convertible. I sighed in relief when I got inside. I grinned. They would be alerted, of course, when I started the car but I'd already sped off for sure before they could catch me. "Okay. Let's do this," I told myself before I started the car. I didn't waste time. I quickly maneuvered the car to get out of the garage and into the driveway. I laughed out when I saw several guards tailing behind me shouting, but I already stepped on the gas. It didn't take long before I got out of our exclusive village's gate. My heart is still beating loudly from the adrenaline rush! "Hah!" I shouted after rolling down the top of my car. I can't believe it! I was able to escape! I turned on the music and banged my head lightly to the beat. Party, here I come! Once again, I checked Dmitri's location on my phone to see if he was still there. And he is. I grinned as I continued driving. If I had a choice, I would go to another place, but since I don't have my cards with me, I need to stick with my brother. I parked the car and hopped out. A frown formed on my forehead when I saw the camera flash. My jaw clenched. Really? This is the first time that I have gotten out and the first thing to greet me is the paparazzi? I sighed and just tried to ignore it. My parents surely know by now that I have left anyway. I smiled at the guards who immediately let me in. I am well known at almost every luxury and high-end club here because I usually frequent them. An usher greeted me and asked if I was with my friends. "No. I'm with my brother. Dmitri Alistair." I told him. "Oh, this way, Miss Eli," he led me into one of their VIP lounges. I immediately spotted my brother who was currently chugging alcohol down his throat. I rolled my eyes. Such a hypocrite... I looked at the others who were seated at his table. I pouted when I only saw the familiar faces of his few friends. Unlike me, my brother is a little bit anti-social. "Hi, brotha!" I slumped beside him and snatched the glass that he had just refilled. I drank it straight. He wasn't able to react in surprise. He was just looking at me dumbfoundedly when I turned back to him after emptying his glass. "Are you having fun?" I asked sarcastically. "What the hell are you doing here Eli?" his forehead creased and his face immediately flushed red with anger. "Hi Eli!" his friends greeted me. "Hi!" I waved at them. Then he turned back to my furious brother. "Chill." I smiled. "I just got here." "How did you find me? Did you ask Mom and Dad about this?" he asked. "GPS, duh." I spat. "I thought Dad confiscated your phone?" he hissed. "Yup." I nodded. "But I found it. And Dimi, will you please cut me some slack? I had a rough week. The least you can do is to let me enjoy this night!" I smiled inwardly when I noticed that he was buying my excuses. "Rough week? You just started working yesterday," he snorted. "Yes, but can you imagine everything that I have to do at Moore Holdings?" I batted my eyelashes. "That Sebastian drives me like a slave. He even makes me do his secretary's job!" "What did you just say?!" I almost jumped when his familiar voice came up behind me. s**t. He heard what I had just said, didn't he? "Oh!" I chuckled nervously when I turned to look at him. "Hi, Sir!" I grinned at him to hide the slight trembling of my lips. So they went out together. But where was he earlier? I looked behind him to see if he was with someone else but there was no one there. He frowned and also glanced behind him. His eyes went back to me before scanning me from head to toe. I was always confident with my body, but why do I want to squirm under his scrutinizing gaze? "Eli," my brother called. "What?" I asked. "I'm going to call your bodyguard to pick you up." he seriously said. My shoulders slumped. "C'mon Dimi... Please? I promise I won't stay for too long. I'll just have a little drink." I bit my lip while looking at his knotted brows. He looked so much like Dad. I do look like him too, but some of my features I got from Mom. Unlike him, who looked like a copy-pasted version of our Dad. "Please..." I gave him my best puppy eyes, which is probably inappropriate for someone my age, but the hell I care. It works. That's what matters. "Fine," he sighed. "But stay here. And don't get drunk." he hissed. "Yes!" I squealed. "Thanks, bro! You're the best!" I hugged and kissed him on the cheek but he immediately dodged. "Stop it before I change my mind," he scoffed. "Okay!" I scooted away from him just to see Sebastian who was now sitting in front of me with a look of disapproval on his face. What the hell is his problem?! I wanted to shout at him but instead, I gave him a sweet smile before calling for a waiter. "Just order some cocktail." I heard Dmitri's voice despite the music. I rolled my eyes. Fine. "A cosmo, please," I told the waiter when he approached. "Can I dance?" I asked Dmitri. I think I need to remind him one of these days that I am the big sister here. And yet here I am, asking for his permission for my every move. Ugh. "I said stay here." he squinted his eyes while I rolled mine. I heard his friends laugh. They have been friends since college days, so I kind of know them. But we weren't close, since some of them are assholes. My brother is probably an asshole too, but I was his exception. "You better sit here Eli." Marc, one of his friends, said suggestively. "And why is that?" I raised an eyebrow at him. "You're c**k-blocking Dmitri!" he smirked. See? Asshole. "Marc," my brother sternly said. But I guess his friend is right. I stood up to change seats but I am definitely not sitting beside him. I took the seat beside Sebastian. "Eli, I said stay here," Dimi said like I was some petulant child. "It's okay, I'll just catch up with my old friend here," I smirked before looking at Sebastian, who had a dark expression on his face. Before I could say anything more, my order came. "Thanks," I smiled sweetly at the waiter, whose face immediately blushed. I sipped the cocktail glass while looking around. Our spot is a bit far from the other tables. I wanted to message my friends to ask if any one of them is here but I decided against it. Dmitri's nostrils will surely flare if I move to their table. So I just quietly sat back and drank my cosmo in peace. At least I wasn't confined to the four corners of my room. I turned to look at Sebastian but my expression turned sour when my eyes landed on the purplish red, round spot on the side of his neck. He looked at me and noticed where I was looking at. He raised an eyebrow at me. He isn't trying to hide it, huh? The image of the innocent girl that he was with earlier came back to me. I never thought that she could be wild in bed. Oh well, even angels have their wicked schemes indeed. "I have a concealer here." I leaned closer so that the others wouldn't hear. I watched how his Adam's apple bobbed up while I was eyeing his neck. "What?" he seemed clueless about what I was talking about. "To cover that nasty thing on your neck. It's such an eyesore!" I told him irritably. One of his eyebrows c****d up after hearing what I had to say. "Come on." I stood up and pulled him. "Eli..." My brother called. "I'm just going to the restroom. Since I don't want to c**k-block you, even more, I'm bringing him with me." I pointed at Sebastian. "I can go with you, Eli." Marc butted in while chuckling. I just rolled my eyes at him before pulling Sebastian out of there. He surprisingly let me tug him along. "Eli... Where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while." a familiar man tried to talk to me. "I'm kinda busy..." I answered, but I didn't stop walking. We reached the bathroom but, unfortunately, the ladies' room was full. Without thinking twice, I pulled him to the men's room. Thank God it's empty! I pushed him in front of the sink. "Why would you even bother about that?" he asked in a husky voice. "I told you, it's making my eyes hurt," I answered while digging into my make-up kit. I smiled when I found what I was looking for. I gasped when he pushed me against the sink, making me sit on it. Then he stood in front of me. Perhaps to shield me from men who would go inside the men's room. I should be thankful, but his scent is making my mind wander into forbidden places. Our closeness is making me feel uncomfortable and the moans that I can hear in the background aren't helping at all! I shot the closed cubicle where I could hear the ridiculous sounds from! Damn it! Can't they find another place to make out?! "You better start so that we can get out of here." Sebastian snapped, which brought me back to my senses. I quickly opened the concealer and started working to cover up his damned hickey! I pulled down his collar to make him crouch a bit. I was seriously dabbing the liquid concealer when a scandalous wail echoed inside the bathroom. Woah, it seems like she just reached the big O! I clenched my jaw and tried to act like I wasn't hearing anything, but the grunts of the man who seemed to be chasing for his release were just too hard to ignore. The door of their cubicle also started to rattle in tune with their bodies slamming into it. I can almost paint their whole image inside my head. The woman's back is probably pinned to the door. Her skirt hitched up and bunched on her waist while her underwear was just pushed to the side if she ever had any. Her legs were wrapped around the man's waist. I gulped at the disturbing images. They were so vivid, as if I could see them beyond that cubicle door! My eyes landed on my own thighs, which were sprawled apart to accommodate Sebastian between them. He was standing so close. My breathing started to get heavy. My senses were suddenly so sensitive. I can feel his slightest movements. Each time the rough fabric of his pants brushes on the bare skin of my thigh causes shivers to run down my spine. "Fuck." I heard Sebastian swear under his breath. I looked up at him with hooded eyes. He stared at my face before his gaze moved down to my parted lips. Everything seemed to fade into the background. Even the loud moans and groans disappeared. All I can hear is the loud pounding of my heart and the rush of blood in my veins. The putrid smell of the urinal was overpowered by Seb's minty scent as his warm breath fanned my face. I couldn't help but close my eyes and wait for his lips to cover mine...
