I sat and waited for Kane with Foster and Brad, making small talk. They asked me how things had been around here, I gave them the short version of course. We didn't speak about any of their findings while they were away or what the contents in the boxes they brought in here, I thought it was best to wait for Kane to save them repeating themselves.
Rose walked through the door carrying a tray with hot tea and an assortment of biscuits. Both men dived straight in like they both hadn't eaten since they left here.
“Am I pleased to see you two!” Kane's voice echoed through the door as he followed closely behind it, “I trust everyone made it back safely?” he asked as he walked straight towards the men extending his hand out to them.
