We had just left the small cabin that Victor and Lydia had stayed in the night before, opting for a different route back to our house in the hope we maybe picked up their scent.
I walked ahead with Em and both Ryder and Blair were behind us. I slowed as I began to pick up a different scent, “You smell that?” Em asked as she sniffed the air, looking towards the trees to the side of us.
I nodded following her line of sight, “Yep” I turned back to Ryder, a smile crept over his face knowing what I was about to confirm, “Found them!” I mused.
