I watched as Em made her way to Ryder's front, I shifted my position so I was next to him in case I had to jump between them.
Em squinted as she focused on his face, slowly raising herself up on her tiptoes, I could hear Ryder gulp in fear as he stood tall, leaning back away from her slightly, he moved his arm to Blair's front pushing her behind him to keep her safe, she was just as unsure as he was so she did so without hesitation.
Slowly she lowered herself down onto the balls of her feet, “No” we all gasped at the deep voice that was coming from her “Hurt!” she took a step back away from him, letting him know she wasn't going to hurt him. He let out a loud breath that he was obviously holding the whole time she was close to him.
