I pulled my shirt up over my head and smoothed it down over my body, I kept looking at Em in the mirror in front of me, it was at the perfect angle to see her sitting on the foot of the bed slipping on her shoes. She looked radiant today, I couldn't quite put my finger on it but she seemed different, maybe the newly found connection with her wolf was bringing out her confidence.
“We should go down, help clear the mess up” She called to me.
“Yep, I'll be right with you!” I smiled at her as I caught her looking back at me through the mirror.
She got up and walked to me putting her arms around my waist from behind, “You know you didn't have to stay awake all night, I have a feeling whoever it was won't be coming back in a hurry”
“I couldn't sleep anyway” I turned so I was facing her
