Chapter 3 Nathan stood in the shower, letting hot water rush over him. As much as he loved fishing, it was always work and today had been no exception. His muscles loosened in the steam, the heat washing away his exhaustion. A few minutes later, he strode into the kitchen in worn sweatpants and a flannel shirt. He found Jared staring inside the refrigerator. “Don’t tell me there’s nothing good to eat,” he said. “Can you remember the last time one of us went to the grocery store?” Nathan thought for a moment and shook his head. “Can’t say that I do.
