In the last week, Nathan had spent almost every night with her at the hotel. The nights were a blur of passion, tinged with a level of closeness that alarmed Tess if she let herself think about it. Early this morning, in the soft light of dawn, she’d woken curled on her side; Nathan spooned behind her, one hand curled on the underside of her breast, his palm warm against her bare skin.
