Chapter 44 – The Omega Princess
Every muscle in Phoenix’s body ached, her lungs felt like they had been stretched beyond their capacity as she slumped to the ground, totally exhausted.
“Get up Phoenix. You must push through, beyond your limits, there is no break in battle,” Chloe shouted over.
With a low groan Phoenix stood back up, wishing this training session was over with. Her parents were, of course, correct, when tomorrow came, there would be no time to sit down and take a break. Training with her parents had always been difficult, but this was brutal.
