“That’s not possible. Ava doesn’t have a wolf.” He says confidently, and Fiona shakes her head.
“You don’t know that, Edgar. This is proof that we have been wrong all along. That girl has a wolf. How else was Sebastian able to find her?” Fiona said, and King Edgar groaned in annoyance.
“You have forgotten that she was unable to heal after that fall. Anyone with a wolf would be able to heal themselves.” He said, and Fiona sighed. She agreed with him on that point.
“Well, what are you going to do now? Sebastian is not going to let this slide. We both know he knows who was behind the kidnap.” She said.
“No.” King Edgar shook his head. “He has no evidence, Fiona. Without one, it will be impossible to point fingers at me. I made sure I erased everything that would implicate me.” King Edgar
