Sebastian went back into the room as he knew that Ava would get worried if he just left without letting her know why he was leaving.
When he entered the room, Ava was waiting impatiently, her eyes glued in the direction of the door.
“Is everything okay? Why did you suddenly shut the door?” She asked, widening her hazel eyes as she waited for a reply.
“It’s uhh.” Sebastian started. He didn’t know how she’d feel if he told her that Elsie was in the palace. He wanted to hear what Elsie had to say first before letting Ava chase her away.
“There’s a little problem at the company. Edwin already went to handle it but I also have to hop on a video call with him now so, I’ll need to head to the study now, okay?” He caressed her hair as he spat lies from his mouth.
