Immediately, Hannah ended the call. She hurried to Queen Janet’s room, ignoring the stares she was receiving from the other maids.
“Come in.” She heard from the room and entered. “Good day, Your Highness.” She greeted, rubbing her arms nervously.
“What is it, Hannah? You look disturbed.” Janet asked, and Hannah nodded.
“It’s King Edgar.” She said, and that grabbed Janet’s attention. Now that King Edgar was on the loose, she needed everything she could get concerning his whereabouts.
“What about Edgar?” She asked, and Hannah took a deep breath to calm her nerves before she started talking.
“He called me a few minutes ago and told me to abduct you.” She said, and Janet raised a brow in confusion.
“You’re one of his spies, aren’t you?” She asked, and Hannah shook her head immediately.
