The following day, Sebastian and Ava prepared their things for their trip. Ava had no idea where they were going, but she would trust Sebastian. He did say it was a surprise, and even though she hated surprises, she was going to give Sebastian a chance.
“I’m so sorry I must leave when you just arrived, Mumm,” Ava said. She was in her mother’s room to say her goodbyes.
“Oh, dear. Don’t say that. I’m glad you allowed me to stay here. I’m even happier that you are taking a break from everything. You deserve a break, my darling. I heard of everything you’ve gone through because of King Edgar and even your sister. You need this vacation.” Clara said, her heart aching for her child.
