"What the hell were you thinking?!"
I turned around to a fuming Caleb, his face red and he had a hard time controlling his breath, obviously from running after me.
"There was someone blackmailing Mr. Cobb into withdrawing his services from our party." I explained with ragged breaths as i looked around, still hoping for catching any glimpse of the person, but it obviously was of no help in this crowded place.
Suddenly, i was pulled from my arm around and closer than needed to a fuming Caleb. "That does not give you any right to put yourself in that kind of danger!"
I frowned at his tone and his raised voice. I pulled my arm back and looked up at him daringly. "What is wrong with you? I'm trying to help!"
