Princess Avyanna's heart fell at the words of the new king. She had been more expectant of him, he ruined her awful marriage, she was thankful to him, he was a handsome king, and her heart already accepted to marry him like she had known him before. She was more overjoyed than some, so hearing him ask her to return home, didn't just make her feel sad but angry too. She had traveled all the way from Hae. She thought about the shame it would bring to her. She would be tagged as the rejected princess, the unmarried princess. No princess ever returned back to her kingdom from where she was supposed to be married. It was unheard of and she wouldn't be the first. She didn't want to be married at first but now she wanted to be. It was better that she was married than leave so shamefully.
