******** Days went by and Avyanna had remained in her chambers, locked up by herself, refusing anyone to come in or out except for Hadena and that was only when she came to change the wet things in her room and bring her her food which she barely ever touch. Over and over and over again she would replay that day's event in her mind and would blame herself for that innocent slave's death and the reason why her son was an orphan. If only she had not listened to Hadena when she told her to keep out of it. If only she didn't sit still in the carriage and watched as they took her life. Guilt was slowly eating her up, bit by bit, and taking every piece of her heart. She still remembered how she kept calling out to her son, while they rushed her to the medicine man.
