After Maia told me about her nightmare. I comforted her and she managed to fall back asleep, unlike me.
I still couldn't believe it.
After about 11 years of my mate being abused by her parents. She was finally free of them only to end up being in a greater danger, vampire's, such a rotten word to even think about.
Before, Werewolves and Vampires used to be great allies. They helped us with the war between the faeries and warlocks. And we did manage to win but that all changed in the year 1743 when the vampire king ended up killing the Alpha's mate after the bloodsucker and convinced himself that she was his. The werewolf went beyond crazy with revenge. Who could blame him, he lost the person he loved the most in the world.
