Mary's POV
After the squabble with Leo, I felt it was the right time to show him the surprise I kept for him. Taking his hands, I lead him to the library where I found a book, a romance suspense novel written by me though I didn't use my real name as pen name but my picture is on the book.
"Why are you leading me here, any surprise here? He gets confused and starts to worry what I'm up to from his eyes. I give him a slight but warm smile to soothe him down. He sighs in relief. "Come on darling, the greatest suspense I've ever had in my life is now."
I look at his face to ascertain what is in his heart. I wouldn't say he is excited right now, looking at his point of view, the library is quite an unusual place for a review. "Hmmm," I heave. Sometimes it is, just as it's gonna be now.
