"What just happened? What does she mean by that?" Stephanie's mom asked. Felix dropped my hand and rushed out of the room. I stood helplessly and staggered back to the couch. My hands and feet trembled but I masked it out with an expressionless face. How did she know? Was that what the woman meant by what she said?
I looked at her and saw her staring at me with confusion. She sighed and left the room hurriedly. I turned my attention to the maids who gathered, they looked at me with irritation and left. I stood up with my shaky feet and locked the door. After locking, I turned and slid down the door to the floor. I gripped my shirt and rested my head on my lap. What have I done? It seems like Stephanie is beginning to like Felix or am I just an obstacle to them?
