*Sterling* I mistakenly believed… since the last ball of the mating Season has been held and many of my peers have already escaped to the country… that the Great Exhibition would be far less crowded. Throughout the summer, I have heard all about the astonishing number of people who has visited the wondrous exhibits. But with my diminishing vision, I don’t do well in crowds, so I have waited until I had determined a more favorable environment would be awaiting me. I have judged dreadfully wrong. But I possess a stubborn streak, and once I arrive and see the crowds lined up to enter the Crystal Palace, I’m not about to tell my driver to return me home.
