“NIX HELP!” I screamed in my mind. If there was ever a moment, this was it. I needed her. As soon as I screamed to her in my mind, I felt the cold breath of death kiss me on my neck. It had come to greet me. Nix was back and I was shifting. The pain was nothing in this world. Nix took off running into the forest. She ran hard and fast.
