WAR OF AGES: The Beginning

The year is 2060, 6 January in Jakarta, Java  Currently, the story will take place on market street which has many pedestrians walking in the street as two young men walk across the road as Two of them talk with each other, as one of the young men talking with excitement in his tone as the others nod in agreement while letting out few words as possible.  "Man, the newest game I saw on from the game magazine was great. Damn, those graphics are so insane." said the young man who is wearing a leather jacket with an inner garment and skinny jeans.  As the man was excited, he stops at the front of the looking at the games store then found the games that are currently on the trend.  "Hey, Robert. Calm down and do not go wild now. As much I want it, I currently have few funds for daily life so can't afford to buy one." said another young man wearing a casual black T-Shirt and cotton-made long pants.  "Well, why don't you said so I could buy it for you, wait here I'll go buy it." the man called Robert goes into the shop.  As the young man was planning to refuse it but due to overwhelming excitement Robert walks inside the store to buy the newest game currently on the market.  "Here for you and this one for me," Robert passes the plastic bag to him.  "I tell you there are a lot of helpful reviews about it, damn the gameplay allows different types of player customization as I'm dying to get one." after saying Robert was excited once more.  "It's expensive right, you could just buy it for yourself," the young man insists once more.  "Nah, it's no bother and you could make money out of this game also," Robert waves his hand in a carefree manner.  "War of... Ages," as the young man was curious and tries to look inside the plastic bag.  "Well, I must tell you it's the newest game on store a bunch of players on the internet also said it was the most legendary game on the market, right now," said Robert.  As they left the game storefront they walked together once more into the street and tried to cross the road.  "Is that so? The name is worst and maybe the game maker can't make up a good name," the young man said indifferently.  Hearing unexpected words Robert laugh in delight as tears started to form in the corner of his eye as he could not handle the funny word.  "Well, what you said is not wrong but when you said it just turns funny and I must admit it is the worst game and shittiest name ever heard in my life. Right, Agus?" as Robert pushes his friend's shoulder lightly.  Hearing it Agus just suddenly sneeze which surprised Robert who was looking at the game cover.  "Hey, don't sneeze like that. You are not a game maker especially this game name, right," said Robert as he laughs aloud.  "That just reminds me, Remember the Call of Sign?" he continued.  "Em, yeah what about it?" he was also curious about it.  "Someone said he also going to join in this game, someone also rumored he also made the game himself" as Robert open his arm in excitement.  Two of them then come through the alleyways and a few people also walk through it while some cat sleeping on the side of the alleyways.  "Really? is that source real enough?" said Agus.  "Nah, not sure knew the truth since it's only a rumor, my friend who just played it never once seen or heard about him on the game especially his whereabouts," as he grabs his key from his pocket and puts it on the front door.  Two of them quickly walk inside the apartment block.  "Well since we arrived home let us find out. Go to your room if you can play it and make a name for yourself while at it if when you are famous enough, I let mom let you off from paying rent for three months," as he closed the door.  "Three months... no, six months then we have a deal," as he talks lightly.  "Well, you drive a hard bargain then that also includes you sending some funds to me and helping me out then," as Robert's smile getting larger.  "Ok, that will be easy. Just promise me you tell Aunt for me," as he looks once more to Robert. "Sure, then it's a promise," as Robert gets inside his room.  Looking at his friend going inside the room he could smile slightly then walk to his room's door and pull out his key from his pocket to open the door. As the door opens the room is still dark and empty as he turns the light on. Three months have passed since his mother died and because of the closeness of his mother to his childhood friend and his foster mother they took him into their family and take care of him as he was one of theirs.  "Mom I'm home," as he looks at the room filled with memories.  "Ah, forgot mother is no longer in here," he murmured himself.  He walks to the kitchen was planning to make dinner especially for himself before seeing a cold soup with a piece of bread on top of it with the melted cheese on the side. With a note in front of it read "Here I made dinner just for you, re-heat it in the microwave if it has gone cold, with love from Aunt."  After reading the message his eye flowed with tears before wiping it. as he put the cold food on the microwave then goes to the bathroom to take a shower, after done taking a shower he turned the TV watch today news as he eats his dinner, looking at the clock he quickly washing the dish he just ate.  Agus finish washing the dishes grabbed a game disc from the plastic bag and walk to the corner of the living room which was previously bought by his mother with the help of his foster mother, Opening the disc cask he put it inside the disk holder at the same time the monitor revealing the data inside the disk then installing the program.      xxx --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- xxx      Disc inserted... ... ... Now without a choice, he must log in or he will regret it for life.  "Do I have any more choice? log in," as he clicks the enter button and the pod door opens.  As Agus entered the pod he put on the Headset and the VR Google then he starts wearing the glove for Virtual interaction, as he finished putting everything on a chair revealed itself to him and a cold voice told him.
