Lucian knew he couldn’t just give her a love confession on the carriage ride back to the house. She deserved it to be a special event. His mind started to whirr with possibilities. He could book out the restaurant at the Eiffel Tower and tell her over a romantic dinner. They could go back to the gardens and he could tell her in front of the rose bushes. He could propose on the Champs-Élysées.  There were lots of ideas to choose from. It was difficult to narrow it down to just one. Estelle would probably be happy to help him. The maid was clearly very invested in their relationship. “Genevieve, what are your favourite flowers?” he asked whilst they were in the carriage. “Daisies…?” she said with a blush.
