"You gotta eat,” man number two,—handed me the plate stuffed with food. There was a piece of roast chicken breast graced with green vegetables, fried potatoes, and slices of fruit. My stomach grumbled. It had been two days. I refused to eat because they wouldn’t let me out. Asher didn’t make the situation any better because he didn’t show up from that incident in the room.
