A Very Charmed One

Struggling

Phoebe and I headed towards my house about 20 minutes of talking about what the deal was. I was a little nervous and weirded out that family I don't know is taking me in. In Leo's and Gram's words I wasn't ready to have met them yet.

When we got to my place, Lilly was laying on the bottom step when we walked in the door. She was going crazy like something she knew was up. I picked her up and she went ham on me with kisses.

"Lilly, I'm fine. Now stop with the kisses." I said to her. Then she looked at Phoebe. "Lilly this is my cousin Phoebe, Phoebe this is Lilly, my familiar." I had said.

Phoebe smiled at Lilly and petted her. "She's cute. We've never had a dog. Unless you count when Prue was a dog for a few days."

"What!?" I asked.

"Oh a spell kinda backed fire when we said this spell and somehow she end up being a white wolf dog. Beautiful she can be." Phoebe said as we walked upstairs to my room.

I put Lilly down as I grabbed what suitcases I had. I started packing up about 5 outfits for right now, in one case. Phoebe took a case and went into my bathroom and grabbed all my stuff in there. While she was doing that I had went upstairs to the attic with a suitcase and grabbed all my magic books and the book of shadows with all my potions that I had made.

Phoebe was coming out of the bathroom when I came downstairs from the attic.

"You got everything you need for right now?" She had asked me.

"Clothes/shoes, check. Bathroom stuff/make-up, check." I said as Phoebe set the case down. "Magic book/book of shadows and potions, check." I said as I set that case down.

"You know we have our own magic book and book of shadows right?" She told me.

"Yea, I know. Its just this was passed down from my side of my family and I want to keep it close to me that's all." I told her.

"Alright. I'll put these in the car and you get Lilly's bedding and stuff and come out to the car."

I nodded and grabbed Lilly and went downstairs to grab all of Lilly's stuff that I had gotten her since I got her.

I set her down on her bedding as I got her tote of dog food and treats with her food bowls I side. As I sat them by the front door I went and grabbed Lilly and her bed. As I picked her up, I started to walk towards the door when a fireball came and hit me. Sending me flying against the small table by the stairs. Lilly yelped for a moment when we landed and then started barking, her little puppy barks, at the demon that was standing in the living room opening.

I looked at her then at the demon, it looked like the same demon that attacked me awhile back with Leo.

"Lilly! Run!" I screamed at her as she went to run over to the demon. She stopped then ran out the door. I heard her still barking her barks as she ran out.

"Sending a puppy for help." He had said.

"No, I sent her away so you won't hurt her." I yelled at him as I tried to get up.

He smirked at me. "Well I told you I would come back for you." He said as he went to throw another fireball at me.

I moved out of the way just in time, as he sent another one at me. I kicked up and threw my arm out and sent the fireball at him. It hit him and sent him flying into the coffee table.

Phoebe came running in, with Lilly in her arms. I looked at them for a second then went into the living room.

"You witch!" The demon had yelled at me as he was trying to get up.

"Thanks, I know I'm one." I said as I froze him. Then unfroze his head. "Now again who sent you?" I asked him.

"No one." It said.

"Lier. Who the hell sent you?" I asked again then looked at his knife. It looked familiar. Like I've seen it before. I grabbed the knife from his pants buckle and was about to stab him. "Now again, who sent you?"

This was like a game with him or something. And it was getting really tiring. I touched him for a second right when I was about to stab him with his own knife. When I got a premonition of 5 guys in a circle, in robes, then they all sent in a wand of sort in the middle. It had sent me flying against the stairs with the knife going into my stomach and the demon was sent into flames.

I was more shocked then anything. I lost my demon once again.

I took the knife out of me, slowly got up, put my hand at where I was bleeding and walked down the stairs where Phoebe had met me.

"Are you okay?" She asked me.

"Yea, I'll be fine." I said as I went into the kitchen to grab a towel. "Just put Lilly's stuff in the car and let's so." I said.

"We'll call Leo when we get home." Phoebe said once she grabbed the tote of Lilly's stuff.

When I got to the car after locking up, Lilly jumped in the car and laid down by my feet. I held down tight to the towel on my stomach, while laying my head against the door.

When we got to the house I must have passed out, from loosing to much blood again. Or from the pain. Phoebe woke me up and helped me into the house.

"Leo!! I need you now!!" Phoebe yelled out.

Piper ran down the stairs with baby Chris in her arms. "What's going on? Oh my, what happened to Heather?" She asked when Leo orbed in.

"Yes Phoebe?" He asked when he orbed then saw how Phoebe was holding onto me as she sat me down on the couch.

"She got attack." Phoebe told them.

"By the same demon that attacked the other day Leo." I had said as she laid me on the couch.

"Wait the same demon attack you and you were there with her and didn't bother bringing her here?" Piper had said.

"No, its my fault Piper. I didn't want to be put into a safe place. I wanted to fight." I said as Leo heeled me.

I sat up after he heeled me and Lilly climbing up my leg to sit in my lap.

"I set up your room for you while you were gone. Go rest and Leo can bring in your stuff for you." Piper had said.

"Piper I have to get back to magic school."

"They can wait 5 more minutes." Piper told him. "Now, go get her stuff."

"Just grab the tote and I'll get the bags." Phoebe had said. "I got to get to the paper. I got a deadline due today."

I grabbed Lilly and followed Piper up to the room I'm going to be using while I am here. When we got to the room, I left the door open for Leo and Phoebe to come on in. I sat on the bed, with Lilly, petting her. When Leo came in with her tote and bedding, she went a little crazy. I sat her on the floor and grabbed her bed. I found a nice spot by the window, where she could look out of, and set her bed there. When I sat it down she got in it and laid down and fell asleep.

Phoebe and Piper came in after Leo dropped off the tote. Piper sat on the bed after Phoebe sat my suitcase on the bed.

She told her goodbyes for now and walked out of the room, after giving Piper a hug and me a pat on the back.

"Mommy, who she?" A little boy had asked. It must have been Wyatt.

"Wyatt this is Heather, our cousin. She's going to be staying with us for a while and helping mommy around the house and help take care of you boys while daddy is at school." Piper had told him.

Wyatt looked no more than 8 years old. So Chris had to be about 6. They are so cute. Wyatt looked like his father and Chris like both of them.

"Hey Wyatt. You want to meet my puppy Lilly?" I had asked him as I sat on the floor by Lilly.

"Yea," he said and smiled at me.

He walked over to me and Lilly. I started petting her while she was laying in her bed. Wyatt leaned over and started doing the same. Lilly licked Wyatt on the face. He was giggling. I looked over towards Piper and she was smiling. I smiled back as Wyatt came over to me and touched my arm. I looked at him and smiled.

"Lilly come me."

Lilly came over to me and Wyatt. She wagged her little tail as she looked at me then Wyatt. She leaned into Wyatt for more pets. I smiled so wide at what I was seeing.

The next few days of staying with Piper and Leo was okay. Kinda. I mean its not home but its home for right now. Piper showed me around the kitchen, with the cooking of either food or potions. She showed me a lot more with the potions than I thought I have ever learned.

After that, Piper and I went to P3 to book a few bands for this weekend and make sure everything was going okay. Leo was home with the boys for the night.

We had a few good bands books. One was 'Magic of the Souls' and the other one was 'Rock of Ages'. The 2nd one seemed a little funny but it was whatever. But tonight's band was cool. It was 'AWOLNATION'. They were one of my favorite bands.

While I was waitress they had played my favorite song, 'Sail'. I was singing it while I was handing out drinks to everyone that ordered them.

While I was walking back to the bar, I ran into Leo. "Hey thought you were watching the boys?" I asked him.

"I was, but Billy came by the house. Asking everyone was at. I told her you were working at P3 with Piper. She told me to go and that She'd watch the boys." Leo said looking for the girls.

"They're at there VIP seating." I told him as I sat the tray on the bar. "Gary, give me what the girls and Leo drinks."

"Coming right up, love." Gary said as he sat some more napkins on the tray.

Leo left me, to go find the girls. I was watching the band when Gary tapped on my shoulder.

"Order up." He told me. "Why don't you take a break with your cousin's. Its almost the end of band. What do you want to drink?" He asked me.

"Gary who's gonna serve?"

"We still have Carrie." He said as he pointed towards her at the other side of the club.

"Fine, give me a 's*x on the Beach'." I told him.

"Coming right up." He said.

He handed me my drink and I went over to the girls.

When I got there, I handed the girls their drinks and Leo his, then sat down.

"Piper, I can't believe you got AWOLNATION. They are one my favorite bands." I told her.

"I figured that when I saw you singing to one of their songs." Piper laughed.

"To 'Sail', yea. That's my favorite song from them." I said as I took a sip of my drink.

"Why don't you come here and sit between us." Paige told me.

I got up and walked over to them and sat between Piper and Paige. Prue was sitting on the other side of Paige and Phoebe was on the other side was Piper. The girls' faced me.

"Heather," Prue said raising up her drink. "Its gonna get some times to get use to being another one of us. We thought we were the last ones. But you have proven to us, your our type of sister witch, bad ass and will go to the top at nothing to stop demons." Prue was saying.

"No matter where or what it is." Phoebe added.

"Even if it kills you." Paige added.

"We're glad to call you our sister. Well cousin." Piper had said.

"So this is for you, to Heather!" Prue cheered.

We all raised our glasses up and clicked our glasses together and cheered. I smiled. I've never smiled so hard in my life. Only my mother and grams could see me now.

I thought being a witch was a bad thing but end of the day it was a good thing.

After the end of the show, the girls left other than Piper and Leo. We all cleaned up the club. Piper done some of her counts with the drinks. Leo helped Gary and Carrie take out the trash, while I was whipping down all the tables and chairs by the time Carrie showed up.

"Hey your Heather right?" Carrie had asked.

"Yea," I said as I put the stools on top of the table.

"Well thanks for helping out. I keep telling Piper that she needed more waitress here expressly on the weekends." She told me.

"Well I'm glad to help out my cousin since I am staying with her and Leo for a while." I told her as I went to the next table and stools.

"Wait your sister's cousin?" She asked.

"Yep." I said as I looked up from the table. "Why?"

"Oh nothing, I heard that their cousin was gonna start helping here but I didn't know it was you." She had said then started cleaning off the tables again. "You just don't look like them really. I mean I don't know maybe. You have the body like Phoebe, their hair and eye color. Oh never mind. Forget I said anything." Carrie said as she went to the next table.

Not all cousins of all kind looks alike. I mean I'm a long lost cousin of theirs so I couldn't look like them, would I?"

Leo came over to me after awhile as I sat down on the stage, and after cleaning the tables and stools.

"Hey, Piper and Gary said you done great tonight." Leo told me.

"Yea, it was fun. All I know is my feet hurt." I said smirking a little

"Yea, standing a lot does that." Leo told me.

We sat and talked awhile when Piper and Gary came over. Gary handed me and envelop. I took it from him.

"What's this?" I had asked.

"Well this is your tips for tonight." Gary told me.

"All of this. There's no way this is all mine." I said as I counted about $300 worth.

"Believe it." Pipe said.

"At the end of the shift, we count all the money down to where it needs to be. Which is $200. And what's over that. We split into 4's. Well depends if we have a waitress or not them its 2 or 3's." Gary said.

"Gary gets his cut from bartending, which is about $100-$200, and the waitress's get about $150-$300." Piper said.

"But you was working your ass off tonight while little Miss Carrie was slacking off with the customers. So she only got about $150." Gary said.

"Well I can't take this $300."

"Heather yea you can." Piper said. "You worked it, you earned it. Plus what's left out of the cuts goes towards the club which was about $300-$600."

"Plus both me and Piper agreed you get a little more than Carrie. And not just because your family and all, like I said you done more than Carrie done tonight. That's why I told you go take a break for the ending." Gary said.

"Well thanks." I said as I looked at them all.

Carrie was walking out the door when I looked up to fine her. I wonder if she heard what we said or is pissed on how much she got.

After the clean up was done and the counts were done, we all left. Piper, Leo, and I went home. Piper and Leo let Billy off but she end up staying the night here. She end falling asleep on the couch. Piper and Leo went to bed and me, well I end up taking a bath first. After the hot bath, I went downstairs to get me something to eat. Well snack more likely.

When I came down, Billy was tossing and turning on the couch. I went over to her and shook her to wake her up.

"Billy, Billy." I called her name.

She woke up and looked at me. "Yea?"

"Why don't you bunk with me. Its a king size bed I'm surely there's enough room for the two of us." I told her.

"Naw, its fine."

"Billy, come on. I was getting a snack anyways." I told her.

"Fine, I'll meet you upstairs." Billy said as she got up.

I smiled at her as I watched her go upstairs. I went in the kitchen and got one of Piper's blueberry muffins then head back up to my room.

Billy was sitting on the bed petting Lilly when I came in. She smiled at me when I came in. Of course I smiled back.

I sat on the bed to eat my muffin and petted Lilly and talked to Billy. We talked about high school, her going to college, me staying home with grams. We brought up the boys we dating. And her sister as well.

"Did you ever find Christy?" I asked.

I was there for her when she brought up her sister all the time. I mean I know we didn't really see eye to eye but we was some what friends.

"Yea, the sisters' helped me find her. But," she said then looked away.

"But what?"

"She used me to try to kill the sister's for the Triad. Once the sisters' helped me see through that at the end, after all of us almost destroying each other with the Hollow. Everyone was dead other than me and Piper."

"What?" I said shockingly confused.

"Yea, but Piper and I end up going back in time to change it all. Well to stop the fight with us all. But after seeing what Christy was doing, I went to the sister's and talk to them about it all. I told them that Christy was talking/working with the Triad. So we all went to magic school to stop the Triad and talk to my sister but that didn't help. Christy was a firestarter, she attack me by sending fire at me and well I used my power, which is the same gift as Prue's power, and sent the fire towards her, killing her." Billy looked at me with sad eyes.

I hugged Billy for a moment.

"I'm so sorry. I know how its like to use your powers against family. I used my power against my father. Which is the same as Prue's." I said as I let her go. "But with me, I'm a little f****d up." I told her as I pet Lilly.

"What you mean?" She asked me.

"Well when my mom died, I was gain my powers. I was 16 using telekinesis. Then around the time I was 18 when my grams was getting worse I started to blow s**t up like Piper, molecular combustion. Also slowly learning how to freeze, molecular immobilization. And as of a week ago, I started getting premonitions." I told her as I playing with my hands while Lilly sat in my lap.

"Wait you have all the girl's powers?"

"Yea, but I'm slowly coming into them, that's the problem. I'm going on 20 years old, not knowing what I'm gonna get or when I'm gonna get it." I said as moved Lilly of my lap to lay down. "I freaked out a little when I started getting premonitions. But it was so cool at the same time." I told her as I faced her while laying down. "Like I can touch let's say you," I said as I touched her arm.

When I touched her I got a slight look of her in a class room and she got a D on a paper.

I moved my hand back quick and looked at her.

"What? You saw something didn't you?" She asked me.

"Yea, you got a D on a paper." I told her.

"I'm guessing my Latin class I'm always failing in that class." Billy said as she rolled over onto her back.

"How are you failing that class. We speak Latin for some of our spells." I told her.

"Yea, I know. That's why I'm taking that class, to help me." She told me.

I laid there for a moment thinking what the word was to 'go to sleep' in Latin. Then I thought of it. Dormi.

"Dormi." I told her.

"What?" She asked me.

I smiled at her. "Fessi sumus eamus ad somnum."

"Wait are you speaking Latin to me?"

"Yes, I said; 'go to sleep' then said; 'we're tired let's go to sleep'." I said.

"Wait, how are you saying it different when your damn near saying the same thing." She asked me.

"I don't. I took Latin in high school after I found out I was a witch." I told her. "But for real, let's go to sleep. I'm tired." I told her as I rolled over to face the door and cuddled with Lilly.

"Goodnight, Heather. Thank you for talking to me."

"Your welcome, Goodnight." I said then fell asleep.

The next couple weeks to a month has been a little crazy. Piper been doing a lot not just for me but for the club the kids and she just bought a restaurant. With the help of her sisters they got it up and running in no time.

While Piper has been at the new restaurant, "Family & Me". I've been running the club with Phoebe and watching the kids at home with Billy. We're both watching Piper's boys and Phoebe's girls.

We were all watching cartoon's and eating lunch together. I had made all of us grilled cheese sandwiches. Piper's boys loved when I made grilled cheese sandwiches but Phoebe's girls they were so so. PJ is 5, Parker is 4, and Peyton is 3, I had to watch with them kinda. As we were finishing up, I got up and grabbed all our plates.

As I was walking around the couch, a demon came and threw an energy ball at me. When I saw the demon after it sent me flying, I looked at Billy and the kids.

"Wyatt danger, protect your brother and cousins." I yelled at him as I got up and started to try and blow him up.

Wyatt for an 8 year old is very smart. He ran over to his baby brother and cousins and threw out his force field and orbed them upstairs to their room.

Billy, she done hand to hand combat with him. But we we're failing. I couldn't call the girls for help well I could with Paige but I didn't.

Until I thought of a spell, I spoke it.

"Billy keep him busy!" I called out. "With these words, for who I see, if looks could kill, demon begone with a blow." I said as I went to blow him up. "Billy move!" I said as I blew him up.

As I went to blow him up he threw one last energy ball at me and hit me as he blew up. He knocked me back a few feet but I was somewhat fine. It did leave a mark but I wasn't gonna call Leo for it.

As Billy and dusted ourselves and cleaned up the room where it didn't look like we was attacked at all. I had called Wyatt and them.

"Wyatt, its safe now. You can bring them down." I called from the stairs.

They came running down the stairs towards Billy and I. Wyatt looked at my shoulder and pointed.

"Your hurt, you should call daddy." He said.

"Honey, I'm fine. Its just a scratch. It will heal on its own." I told him.

I grabbed him and hugged him. He was a sweet boy and he had cared a lot. He's probably saw a lot of hurt in his life.

As I pulled away, I started to feel the sting of the pain but said or done anything about it. I looked at Billy and the kids before saying anything.

"Billy, I'll be back. Ima go change my shirt." I told her.

She nodded and brought the kids back into the living room to watch cartoons again. I ran up the stairs to go to my room and went to my dresser. As I was going through my dresser for a shirt, I felt like I was being watched but by whom. There was no one in the room.

I took off my shirt and threw it in the dirty clothes basket. I was only in my bra when I happened to look in the mirror to look at my shoulder. It was burned good but I wasn't gonna say anything. When my eyes flickered up, I had swear I had seen a man in my room. Not just any man, a cute one at that but only way a man got in here, he was a demon.

I turned around and he was gone. Like he wasn't even there at all. So I put my shirt on and headed out the room.

The thought of that man being in her room but not in her room was bothering me for a while. Was it a vision of some kind like without having the visions. Or what it really there. After that moment, it wasn't the first time I'd had saw that either. The past few weeks, I've been seeing him. Even been dreaming of him as well. Was it a sign of something or was it really a dream. I wanted to bring it to the girls about the man but they probably thing I'm loosing my mind.

The struggle of this was hard on me and the girls saw it but said nothing. I was missing my grams and I wish I were back at the house. But as much I hate to say it, even struggling, I'm glad for the sisters, Billy, and Leo. They've helped me with what they can, just its not the same. Will it ever come together or will I always feel like this. I'll never know til that moment.

Sorry this took a very long time to write this. And I am sorry y'all have been waiting for it.
