After the ranked members had their meeting, I followed Richard to his office. I was embarrassed about what happened earlier. I remembered knocking the warrior down when he tried to attack Richard from behind, but nothing else until Richard was talking to me and telling me everything was okay.
I could’ve killed that man. If Richard weren’t there, I might have. I didn’t know what my wolf brain was doing. It wasn’t me. It was as if I blinked and time disappeared between the attack and the moment Richard got through to me.
When we got to the office, I curled up in the corner, far from Richard’s desk. I didn’t want to be too close and risk hurting him. He took time for me and was considerate and kind. If I hurt him, I would never forgive myself.
