I was just a normal teenage girl, worried about normal teenage stuff: school, boys, friends, my internet popularity and my 18th birthday. That is, until, I wake up on my 18th birthday in a strange place. This isn't my room, these aren't my clothes and that reflection is not me! Upon finding a journal, I find out the startling reality... I am stuck in an awful werewolf novella!

A Whole New World
The morning sun warms my eyelids and I groan groggily, rolling over and wrapping myself in my blankets to escape the waking hours. It's the weekend, I don't have to get up yet, so I try my hardest to recapture the heavy hazy feeling of sleep once more. But, it slips through my fingers, like sand, as my brain starts chugging to life like an old coffee machine. Mmn, coffee sounds good... I think to myself, as the scent of freshly brewing coffee reaches me deep under the covers. So, I finally decide, albeit grumpily, to just get up. It is my birthday, after all, and pretty soon I am going to start hearing my phone chirp with happy birthday messages. I reach a hand out of the covers into the harsh morning sun's rays and feel around on my side table where my phone spends its nights. I feel around the surface for longer than usual, as I find my phone mysteriously missing. I reach along my floor, also feeling nothing. I groan, unhappily, throwing back the covers and rubbing my eyes of the last specks of sleep I tried so desperately to hold onto. My vision clears and I pause.... This.... this isn't my room. Panic overwhelms me, and I search the blankets for my cellphone. Not finding it, I rush to stand, my feet making contact with the cold wood floor. I search the nightstand hopelessly, nothing in the drawers or under it. I drop to my knees to search under the bed, finding nothing but a couple pairs of shoes, some hair ties, loose change and a couple dust bunnies. I sit back up, finally noticing my clothes are not mine either. My usual pajama set consisting of men's pajama pants and a band shirt, are instead replaced with a silky lacey pajama set of green shorts that could be better described as underwear and a tank top showing off my midriff. My mouth goes dry. How did I get into these skimpy clothes and why?! I put my fingers to my lips, about to chew on a nail out of stress to be met with neatly manicured nails with a glossy nude color with a French tip. My brows knit in confusion. I haven't done my nails since I was a freshman, I just got bored and lazy with the upkeep, especially when I was so focused on school and life- Wait! There's no time to think about that right now, I need to figure out how I got here! I survey my surroundings. I stand in a rather large bedroom. It looks more like a master bedroom and I can see through an open door into a giant bathroom. Whoever owns this room has to be rich, this room and that bathroom are huge. I shake those thoughts out, continuing my survey. The floors and walls are wood, like a cabin, and the windows are rather large, the two next to the bed set deep into the wood almost reaching the floor and ceiling. A third window is to my left, wider than the others with a large windowsill, so big it almost looks like I could sit on it. All of the windows are framed by sheer white curtains, pulled across them despite of their inability to block out the sun, instead causing the sun to have an almost dreamlike halo effect on the windows. I move my gaze to the bed that I was just laying in. It is giant, the head board made of thick light colored wood with it's four posts reaching the ceiling, the same curtains on the window hanging around the frame delicately. The blankets are pure white, with a cream sheet covering the mattress. Four fluffy pillows match the blankets, and the thread keeping the pillow cases together look almost golden in the morning light. The side tables match the bed with thick wooden legs, drawers with golden knob handles and thick white glass ontop of the wood, I would guess to keep it protected? Two lamps, gold and white, sit on each of the night stands, with one of them also holding a small digital clock that reads 6:23am. The rest of the furniture is similar, a cushioned seat at the end of the bed made of the same wood, the plush cushions and dainty decorative pillows all white, the wooden dresser with golden knob handles, a wooden vanity table with a thick white glass top and cushioned chair with, you guessed it, a plush white cushioned seat. There was also a couple of book cases, what I assumed was a double door to a closet, a desk with a computer on it and office like white computer chair, and a couple oversized chairs and a matching loveseat, all white cushions and made of the same wood. It was like looking at a furniture catalog, everything looked pristine and identical, with the exception of little things scattered about as if to give the appearance that someone indeed lived here, like some clothes discarded over the sides of the chair, a crumpled fluffy cream blanket on the loveseat, a pair of headphones on the computer desk, makeup and a hairbrush on the vanity, and an open book on the desk- you get the picture. It seemed surreal, as if I was still dreaming, but the crisp cool morning air causing the hair to stand on my skin told me I was probably awake. I pinched my arm for good measure, and let out a gasp at the pain. Yup. Awake. Suddenly I heard movement outside of the door, someone was headed towards my room! Wait, how could I tell? Their footsteps sound so clear.... I was startled out of my thoughts as someone knocked on the door. "Juni," a male voice spoke gently through the door, as if trying not to wake someone but still trying to be heard, "breakfast is ready, come down." I held my breath, biting my tongue, hoping they didn't expect an answer. A beat passed and their footsteps retreated the way they came, and I let out the breath I had been holding. Ok, so this room belongs to someone named Juni- I began thinking to myself before I caught sight of movement, I turned to look straight into a mirror and almost jumped out of my skin-
