This day, meant to be a celebration, is instead a cruel mockery of my dreams – My wedding day. My makeup is flawless, but it can't mask the deep sadness etched into my features. The wedding gown, beautiful and intricate, is suffocating. On the desk, an invitation lay open of another wedding scheduled for tomorrow—Michelle and Colt’s, which adds to my misery. I’m so foolish for falling in love with the wrong man again. I shouldn’t have tried to make him remember me, to rekindle something that has long been extinguished.
