ALEXANDER’S POV
“What’s with the long face?” Jax waves his hand at my face and pulls me out of my unpleasant memory. “What were you saying?” I ask. “Seems like you were no longer here, what were you thinking about?” he wonders. “Nothing,” I curtly respond. “It doesn’t look like nothing, you know your face changed the minute I suggested that we go camping,” he probes.
I glance at him and say nothing, I pour myself a drink and stare outside the window. “You once went camping with your father when you were young, you never told me how it went.” He crossed his legs and leaned back on his seat. “And so you thought to ask me about this now after over ten years,” I chuckled.
“I guess I forgot about it until now that I have suggested that we go camping,” he replies.
“No!” I abruptly uttered.
