Elena's POV
I believe that Mariana is truthful to me. I do think that she has, for the first time, met her mate. I believe her father banished Morris from the Blue Mountain Pack to get him away from Mariana, not to realize later that she has a mate.
It was unfair towards her, and I believe that if somebody intervenes with the Moon Goddess' plans, they will pay for it. I think her parents were wrong, and they taught her wrong. She had no choice in this life of the belief in the lifestyle of her parents.
I can see in her eyes that she is very sad. I will need to talk to Morris, but first, I need her to break the bond with the Blue Mountain Pack to show her mate that she is willing to become a rogue or an outcast like he was.
